About Us
The principal purpose of the organisation is to promote the conservation of Rodrigues’ marine biodiversity and to improve the sustainability of the local fisheries. This aim is further defined by a series of specific objectives.
Projects
Shoals Rodrigues has close to 20 years’ experience of designing and implementing projects to address the problems of marine biodiversity loss, supporting conservation and marine resource management, research, education and training and the development of sustainable alternative livelihood initiatives for local stakeholders in Rodrigues, in particular the fisher community.
